About Lauren
Lauren Sheehan, M.Ed, ATP
Empowering ALL learners and educators
Lauren brings over sixteen years experience as a special educator to help coach, mentor, support and empower others.
She is a passionate, creative and energetic educator!
Lauren has extensive experience teaching students with complex learning needs, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) users, alternative access and positioning needs, comprehensive literacy instruction and assistive technology.
Lauren has supported many learners with various ability levels including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Lauren works in the public school system as an educator and an inclusion facilitator. She also works as an adjunct instructor teaching and mentoring future educators.
Lauren is a RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional.
She has presented on topics in the field of education, special education, literacy instruction and assistive technology at local, state, national and international conferences.
